The objective of this study was to develop a ginger slicer in order to improve the slicing efficiency of the fresh ginger. With the main purpose of high ginger slicing rate without affecting the nutrition value of it, so as to preserve it , machine was designed and fabricated for uniform slicing. The machine has a slicing mechanism with a rotary cutting disc
The machine efficiency is higher at lower speed. In addition to ginger, the developed machine could be used for other vegetables like potato and carrot.
Ginger slicing machine is made of international standard 304 stainless steel, which can fully adapt to the humid environment, the body and frame are not rusty, which increases the service life of the machine. It can cut along the length of the material, the cutting ginger is longer, the thickness is adjustable, the cut surface is smooth.
